Founded in 2015, Luteca is a contemporary design company that produces furniture in Mexico harnessing traditional materiality and craft to create pieces that are deep rooted with modernist sensibilities.

Wanting to expand their visibility, Luteca opened showrooms in Mexico City, Paris, and Los Angeles—Atelier RO was invited to collaborate on the design of their LA showroom. Drawing inspiration from Mexico’s modernist and hacienda style architecture, both of which are prevalent throughout the city, the showroom was divided into a series of vignettes to showcase the furniture. Private spaces were also added for the back of house office and storage.
