57TH STREET
NEW YORK
Relocating from London to New York, the client’s brief was to marry his love of modern design with his extensive fine art collection, a mix of contemporary and Old Masters along with Italian antiques.
The design strategy was to create simple clean lines as a backdrop to the views of Central Park in the Skidmore, Owings and Merrill designed building with its undulating floor to ceiling windows. The cool hues act as a palette cleanser to showcase the art with a view.
